I offer a range of advanced functional laboratory tests including DUTCH® hormone testing, GI Map®  comprehensive gut microbiome stool test and cutting-edge genetic testing using pin-prick blood spot.

DNA Core® genetic testing is the starting point on your journey to personalised healthcare. It is as if you are given a manual for the functioning requirements of your body. This test reports on gene-environment interactions and provides personalised, easy-to-follow, summarised recommendations on four core areas:

1. key biological processes that drive health including methylation, detoxification and lipid metabolism
2. macro- and micronutrient requirements based on genetic response
3. weight management insights such as obesity risk and eating behaviour
4. exercise responsiveness including power and endurance potential, and recovery time.

You will learn the right type of food for you to eat or avoid including  possible gluten allergies or lactose intolerance; the exercise your body best responds to; key health areas likely to flare up under stress and how best to support that. All in an easy to use guide backed up with a personalised protocol  – created specifically for you by me –  to help you implement strategies to incorporate guidelines according to your genetic test results. If you have specific concerns regarding your potential for genetic/inherited issues, I can request add-on test for key areas to help you understand whether health issues you have are diet and lifestyle related or part of your genetic make-up. This helps me target the type of support your body needs to improve health, healing and longevity.

(Please note all laboratory test are charged in addition to your consultation fee. Comprehensive laboratory test prices start from £330. Although beneficial, laboratory tests are optional and not a requirement for your treatment)
